City of PG to pick up the pothole pace

The number of potholes on Prince George roads sounds as if it is being addressed early by council.

Councillor Brian Skakun has made his position on the issue well known, and he believes they are going to do everything they can to rectify the issue:

“… I’ve asked the mayor and administration to put out some information regarding how we are going to manage this pothole situation, and it sounds like we are going to get some additional crews out there and do as much as we can with what we have”

The number of potholes repaired has been on a decline since 2012, going from 22,000 to around 14,000 last year. However, with new funding and a new council the efforts may be renewed.

Skakun says certain areas Downtown are most concerning, and encourages the public to let the city know via their website, where the roughest sections are.
