Real estate CEO sees PG land boom continuing

One of BC’s largest private land owners has some high hopes for real estate in Prince George.

Rudy Nielsen, CEO of Landcor Data Corp and Niho Land and Cattle Co, says he’s been watching how Prince George has grown over time.

He says a large part of it is because of how the airport has expanded.

“To making it the third largest runway in Canada at 7,400 feet ” says Nielsen, “its the first North American airport linking road, and rail to Asia through Prince Rupert, your passengers we’re up last year by about four percent.”

Nielsen says CN upgrades to the rail yards to handle more containers has also been a bonus for the city.

He says to expect this steady increase in Prince George to continue for the next while.
