Investigators are looking for the publics help now in identifying the suspects responsible for a break and enter and theft of firearms in Prince George on Tuesday.
The RCMP received a call that Nechako Outdoors on Vance Road had been broken into just after 5 am, this is a business that had already been broken into twice prior in the past five weeks.
These suspects managed to flee before police arrival, and investigators quickly determined that 20 firearms had been stolen in a white pickup, which was also believed to be stolen from Van Bien avenue just before the B and E, with a dark coloured dodge charger also believed to be involved in the crime.
That car, was located later in the day with officers locating it on the 1900 block of Strathcona road, the male driver was arrested with two of the stolen firearms located in the vehicle.
23 year old Kurtis Fendrick of Calgary Alberta now faces several charges including possession of a firearm without a license, and possession of property obtained by crime.
The pick-up truck involved is described as:
– White 2004 Chevrolet Silverado
– 2 door extended cab with rear suicide doors
– 4×4 sticker on the side
– Bearing licence plate #CJ9691
The RCMP encourages anyone who has seen this vehicle, or anyone with any other information to contact their detachment or Crimestoppers.
