UNBC ADDS A NEW SENIOR ADVISOR

UNBC has named Metis Scholar and fellow graduate Rheanna Robinson it’s new senior advisor to the President of Aboriginal Relations.

Robinson says she is looking forward to the new challenge.

“I am really excited for this new role that I will be undertaking at the university and being able to work with President Weekes as the capacity of senior advisor on aboriginal relations.”

Robinson is originally from Smithers and completed her BA in First Nation’s studies and History in 2001 and got her masters in First Nation’s studies in 2007.

She will support a number of initiatives including the advancement of aboriginal programs and services and implement aboriginal protocols and policies at UNBC.
