Now that the City is stepping in for all economic development in Prince George, the City’s Manager has been named IPG Director.
Kathleen Soltis says they are still keeping in contact with current CEO Heather Oland during the transition:
“Our intent meeting with Heather was to get a sense of what programs and services are being offered now, and what obligations IPG has between now and the end of the year so that we can assist to wind down those obligations”
Soltis says the city is accepting applications for the position of Manager, as Heather Oland turned down the city’s offer.
She says 3 other economic development officer and coordinator positions will also be posted in the coming weeks.
