Skyfest Airshow in Quesnel this weekend

It going to be a once in a blue moon show.

This year’s Skyfest Airshow in Quesnel will include a twilight show on Friday night,

Media Spokesperson Sharon MacDonald says Friday is the second full moon of July, also known as a blue moon.

“We will have the CF-18, which is a fighter jet of course, as the finale for the twilight show. He will be flying at around 9:45pm with all his afterburners going. So it should be an incredible show to get shots against the full moon.”
