New poll suggests Conservative support slipping in BC

A recent Insights West poll has not revealed good news for the Conservatives.

The Online survey of over 800 individuals from all across BC showed that if a federal election was held today, nearly 41% of voters would vote NDP, with the Liberals trailing behind at 24% and Conservatives with 22%.

Approval ratings for official opposition leader Thomas Mulcair currently stand at 55%, followed by Green Party leader Elizabeth May (52%).

Meanwhile – Harper, he brought up the rear in that category with just 28%.

The poll also asked who would make the best Prime Minister, and Mulcair now sits in first with 27% of the vote followed by Trudeau at 20% and Harper at 19%.
