Prince George RCMP are asking for the public’s help tracking down a parolee wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant.
A warrant for the arrest of 38 year old Mervin Walkus was issued on August 27th after he failed to return to his designated Prince George residence.
Walkus has known associates in Port Hardy and the Lower Mainland. Police say he has a long and violent criminal record and should not be approached. If spotted call 911 immediately.
He is described as:
-First Nations male
-155 cm (5’1″)
-68 kg (150 lbs)
-Black hair (usually cut short)
-Brown eyes
-Tattoos on his right arm and forearm
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact RCMP or Crimestoppers for a potential cash reward.
