The Prince George RCMP have a 20 year old suspect in custody after an armed robbery this afternoon.
At about 1:30pm, police got a report of a man robbing a gas station on the 1800 block of 20th Avenue with a blunt object.
A description of the suspect was provided to officers patrolling the area and within four minutes of the robbery, police arrested the suspect on the corner of 20th and Redwood Street without incident.
The cash was recovered and the weapon was located near-by with the assistance of a Police Service Dog.

Robbery and Uttering Threats charges are expected. The Prince George man will remain in custody until his first court date on Thursday.
The employee of the gas station was not hurt.
