Weekend weather: sunny afternoons, frosty nights

Some nice fall weather is on the way for Prince George this weekend.

Daytime highs are expected in the low teens, with “frosty nights”. Doug Lunquist with Environment Canada says a ridge of high pressure is building over the area. He is forecasting sun and seasonal temperatures.

“They are pretty close for daytime highs, as for the lows they are a bit below average. That’s because the air that’s moving behind this cold front is arctic in origin.”

“Especially in the afternoons, great chance to get out and enjoy some sun in some mild temperatures. You know, it’s not too long and it will be November so any chance we get it’s good to get out there.” Lunquist added

Saturday will see a high of 10 degrees, low of 0. Sunday high of 13, low of 1.
