Prince George Sports Hall of Fame member John Kazakoff has lost his battle with cancer. Kazakoff was a long time fixture on the P.G. baseball scene as a player, coach, manager and organizer. He spearheaded the PG Grays, who started play in the BC Junior Baseball League in 1997, and guided them to the League championship just three years later. Kazakoff was inducted into the Sports Hall of Fame in 2005.
