Spruce Kings take two of three on the road

It was another great game between the pipes for Liam McCloskey as he backstopped the Prince George Spruce Kings to a 4-3 win against the Salmon Arm Silverbacks today (Sun).

Prince George came out of the gate firing with three first period goals from Nic Guerra, Jake LeBrun and Bryan Basilico to take a 3-0 lead after 20 minutes.

Salmon Arm scored the lone goal in the second courtesy of Nick Hutchinson on the power play to make it 3-1.

Oliver Trachsel would make it 4-1 for the Spruce Kings 1:26 into the third period to re-store their three goal lead.
