UBC running back Brandon Deschamps of Prince George is the CIS football offensive player of the week.
Deschamps, a fifth-year arts student, was honoured following his game-MVP performance in a 36-9 Uteck Bowl win over StFX.
The 6-foot Kelly Road grad scored a touchdown and racked up 178 all-purpose yards in the victory, including 128 on 20 rushes and 50 more on three receptions.

The Duchess Park Condors finished 12th out of 16 at the Provincial boys AA soccer championship in Burnaby.
The Condors lost their final game 4-3 to Highland in a shootout.
Duchess went 1-1-1 in the round robin and 0-2 in the consolation round.
