BC Conservative leader in Prince George Thursday

BC Conservative leader Dan Brooks is making a stop in Prince George Thursday as a part of cross BC tour.

Brooks says these public meetings are building the groundwork for the party’s drive to the 2017 elections.

“There’s millions of British Columbians that share Conservative values and I think they want to vote for a Conservative party. It’s important that we develop a platform and policies that resonates with them.”

He pointed to recent hunting changes and LNG as two topics he will touch on, but says the night will be open to any topic that affects Prince George residents.

“It’s going to talk about many things British Columbians are facing; economic prosperity and how we are going to achieve more jobs and grow our Northern communities in ways that they haven’t been for decades. They’ve been shrinking, so how are we going to reverse that, what are we going to do?”

Brooks will be at the Spruce City Wildlife Association’s hatchery at 1384 River Road from 630-8pm on Thursday November 26th.
