A seniors housing complex is being proposed for Ron Brent Park.
The green space on 20th Avenue behind the Gateway Centre will be the topic of a neighbourhood meeting Thursday.
However, Mayor Lyn Hall says they are still a ways off from making any final decision.
“It’s not a done deal, that’s why we are going to the neighbourhood to hear from them. But it’s two part; one to introduce the project to them and to get their feedback on it.”

He says meetings like this are a part of any major development.
“Many times we hear back from the neighbourhoods, either they don’t like it or they do. Or often there are suggestions made to change some things we may not have thought about.”
The meeting will run from 6-7pm at Ron Brent Elementary on December 3rd.
