21-year-old rookie Sarah Beaudry of Prince George was the second of four Canadians in the 7.5-kilometre sprint at a World Cup women’s biathlon race in Canmore, Alberta.
Beaudry had a career-best 38th place finish.
Meanwhile, Megan Tandy of Prince George is expected to miss the rest of the World Cup biathlon season after suffering a broken arm.
The 27-year-old Tandy was injured after a fall while running.
