Prince George MP responds to Enbridge protest outside his office

A Prince George MP wants to clear the air on the dispute over the Northern Gateway pipeline.

Dick Harris stresses the project has not been fully approved, as it is still pending over 200 conditions from the federal and provincial government and First Nations.

The Conservative MP wants opponents to know he appreciates their point of view, but thinks people shouldn’t jump to conclusions.

A demonstration Thursday night outside of his office in PG drew around 200 people.

Harris says he was not present for the actual protest, as it started at 5 p.m., and his office closes at 4 p.m..
