Prince George high jumper Alyx Treasure came first at a Track meet in Lawrence, Kansas with a leap of 1.90 metres which is a personal best.
The standard for the 2016 Rio Olympics is 1.93 metres.

The host Prince George Track and Field Club dominated the team standings at the Sub Zero meet at Masich Place stadium.
The season opening competition was a warm-up for the North Central District Zone Track and Field Championships which will be held May 20th and 21st also at Masich Place.
