Man facing 4 charges following Thursday’s collision

Crown Counsel has released a name and charges following a car crash Thursday which involved a RCMP vehicle.

Daniel Webster faces four charges: dangerous driving, failing to stop for a Peace Officer, resisting a Peace Officer, and driving while prohibited.

After his bail hearing on Friday, May 20th, he was released on $5000 bail under a few conditions, including that he’s not allowed to drive and he must stay at a given address.

Webster allegedly drove a car into a RCMP truck near 5th and Central on Thursday afternoon. He was being pulled over because Police thought his vehicle had stolen plates.
