The top 12 teams will qualify for the Canada West playoffs, but seeding will be determined using a rating percentage index (RPI), which will be calculated using a combination of winning percentage, opponents’ winning percentage, and opponents’ average winning percentage.

Each team will play four historical or geographical opponents every season, with games against six of the remaining 12 schools every other year.

The Timberwolves annual opponents are UBC, Fraser Valley, Thompson Rivers and Trinity Western.
