The Prince George RCMP are looking for who’s responsible for stealing parts of and vandalising a digital roadside board.
Police received the call on Monday about a reported theft and mischief to a sign on Highway 16 at Norman Lake Road.
The sign was being used to inform residents about the wildfire evacuation.
The board was damaged while it’s batteries, solar panels, and trailer license plate were stolen.
Damage is estimated at $20,000.
Anyone with information is asked to call the local detachment.
