The Prince George Cougars are keeping a large roster this week.
Following Monday’s Black-White intra-squad game the Cougars are carrying 6 goalies, 13 defencemen and 20 forwards. 22 of those 39 players were with the team last season.
The Cats play Calgary Friday afternoon at 2 (Pacific) and Edmonton Saturday at 2 in exhibition action in Red Deer.
The Cougars only home pre-season game will be held on Friday, September 16th against Kamloops.

The PG Cougars have signed 16-year-old forward Reid Perepeluk (Yorkton, SasK) to a Standard WHL Player Agreement.
Perepeluk was selected by the Cougars in the sixth round of the 2015 WHL Bantam Draft. The 6’0”, 210 pound Perepeluk spent the 2015-16 season with the Cariboo Cougars and tallied 16 points and 60 penalty minutes in 29 regular season games.
