Cougars are road warriors with 4-0 start

The Prince George Cougars hot start continued with a 2-1 victory over the Rockets Wednesday in Kelowna.

Ty Edmonds made 32 saves and Jared Bethune notched a goal and an assist as the Cougars improved to 4-0 for the first time.

Bethune, who set up the game winner by Jan Khomenko late in the 2nd, has a league-leading nine points.

Edmonds improved his GAA to 1.67 and his save pct. to 947. Kelowna outshot Prince George 33-26.

After a perfect road trip to start the season against BC Division opponents, the Cougars play their next six at CN Centre starting with a double against Kelowna Friday and Saturday.
