Prince George drivers have a day or two to spare before a major price bump at the pumps takes place.
Gas prices in the city range from 95.9 to 99.9 but could jump as high to $1.10 by the weekend.
Senior Petroleum Analyst, with Gasbuddy.com, Dan McTeague has a simple message for drivers. “It’s best you give strong thought to filling up today in order to avoid the possibility of a rather dramatic increase.”
Several gas stations are either taking a loss or breaking even purchasing the gas for close to the same price they are selling it. Prices are being pushed further upwards by a recent agreement by OPEC to curb production slightly.
The lowest price of gas in Prince George is at Costco sitting at 95.9
