The first snowfall of 2016 has hit Prince George.
Ross McDonald with Environment Canada says Friday’s total accumulation should be minor. “The main band of precipitation that is causing this snow to fall is gradually pushing north and I think we are going to see 3-5 centimeters.”
Saturday’s high is expected to be plus 5 so some melting will occur.
However, another blast of snow is expected between Saturday night and Sunday morning with another 4 to 7 centimeters possible.
