Engage Sport North is now accepting nominations for its Fan the Flame Awards.
It takes place February 9th at the Prince George Civic Centre and Executive Director Leslie Ann Wirth says they are expecting another top notch banquet.
“Last year we had a sell-out of 300 tickets and this year we would like to sell 400 tickets. We have expanded the room a little bit and we’re happy to have CBC Olympic Host Scott Russell as our keynote speaker.”
As many as four “Rising Star” and four “Sport Difference” awards will be presented by Canadian Tire.

Award nominations close at noon on November 14th.
43 individuals were nominated for awards during last year’s gala.
