Prince George Cougars 19-year-old forward Jansen Harkins has been named to the WHL team that will compete against the Russians in the CHL Canada-Russia series which starts on Monday, November 7th in Prince George.
The two teams also meet the following night November 8th in Edmonton.
This is the second straight year that the 2015 second round pick of the Winnipeg Jets has been selected to participate in this annual international series.
Harkins, who was the lone Cougar named, has 8 points in 7 games this season.
The Cougars return to action Saturday when they host the Saskatoon Blades.
