There has been a significant drug and firearms bust in Williams Lake.
On Monday Oct 24th, RCMP raided a homes on the 600 block of Carson Ave.
Officers recovered eleven guns and multiple loaded magazines of various calibre, as well as what is believed to be cocaine, methamphetamine and marijuana. A large sum of money believed to be crime related was also seized.
The Williams Lake RCMP says stolen property may be returned to its rightful owner as a result of the bust, however it’s not clear if it was the firearms that were stolen.
In a statement, Inspector Jeff Pelley says drug dealers and unauthorized possession of firearms remain a top priority for the detachment.
One adult male and one adult female are facing numerous charges as the investigation continues.
