The Quesnel RCMP, along with the North District Emergency Response Team have executed a high risk search warrant at a residence on Veneer Road in Quesnel.
For several hours on Thursday, access to Veneer Road and Plywood Road were restricted due to the incident.
Police says some local residents were evacuated as a precautionary measure.
A 22 year old female and a 37 year old male, both from Quesnel were arrested during the investigation.
Robbery and firearm charges are pending.
