The Northern Capitals went 1-1-1 on their three game road trip against the Vancouver Island Seals winning Sunday’s series finale 7-3.
The Capitals jumped out to a 2-1 lead after the opening 20 minutes courtesy Braxtyn Shawara who potted both goals for the visitors.
VI turned the tide in the second scoring two of their own in the middle frame from Brianna Leachman and Mile Verbicky.
Mya Zeimer replied for the Capitals evening the contest at three apiece heading into the third.

The final 20 minutes was dominated by the Capitals who scored four unanswered from Shawara who completed the hat-trick followed by Caily Mellott, Reilly MacLachlan, and Katie Young.
The Capitals carry an 8-6-1 record after the first half of the BC Female Midget AAA season.
