Being a mail carrier can be a thankless job at the best of times but that theory can be applied even more during the frigid conditions in Prince George.
They have been asked to brave the elements during the cold-snap.
Local 812 Union President Tami Brushey says carriers do have a course of action during the chilly weather.
“The workers are aware they have the right to refuse unsafe work and when it gets to be dangerously cold out but Canada Post has asked them to go out and attempt delivery but we know workers have come back.”
