Cougars to play most of their pre-season games on the road

The Prince George Cougars have just one exhibition home game prior to the WHL’s 2017-18 regular season, slated for September 15th when they entertain the Kamloops Blazers.

The Cougars have released their six-game pre-season schedule which starts with a pair in Red Deer; against the Edmonton Oilers on September 1st and against the Calgary Hitmen on the 2nd.

The Cats will play three times the following weekend in Langley; the Vancouver Giants on September 8th, the Everett Silvertips on the 9th, and against the Victoria Royals on the 10th.

  • PG vs. EDM (2PM PST in Red Deer) = Friday, September 1st
  • PG vs. CGY (2PM PST in Red Deer) = Saturday, September 2nd
  • PG vs. VAN (7PM PST in Langley) = Friday, September 8th
  • PG vs. EVT (2PM PST in Langley) = Saturday, September 9th
  • PG vs. VIC (NOON PST in Langley) = Sunday, September 10th
  • KAM at PG (7PM PST in Prince George) = Friday, September 15th

The 2017-18 WHL regular season schedule will be unveiled in late this month.
