The Prince George Cougars will start their 24th regular season when they host the Spokane Chiefs on Friday, September 22nd.
The Cougars will raise their first ever BC Division championship banner prior to puck-drop on opening night.
Prince George clinched the accomplishment on March 18th of this year, earning one point in a 3-2 shootout loss to the Kamloops Blazers.

The Cats finished the 2016-17 season with a record of 45-21-3-3 for a total of 96 points, the best in the team’s 23-year history.
The entire 2017-18 Cougars and WHL schedule will be released Tuesday afternoon.
