Prince George will be celebrating our nation’s sesquicentennial birthday in style all day Saturday.
A number of events are scheduled to take place:
- Two Rivers Canoe Club Races
- Nechako & Fraser Rivers, 8AM – 6PM
- Finish line in Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park
- Midday Entertainment
- Cultural Diverse performers, ALL DAY
- Birthday cake to be served at Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park
- Royal Canadian Air Force
- CP140s flying over, 1PM – 1:30PM
- Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park
- Canada 150 Heatwave
- Delhi 2 Dublin & Andino Suns
- Canada Games Plaza, 7PM – 10:30PM
- Canfor Fireworks
- Set up at top of Connaught Hill, 11PM – 11:30PM
- Seen from downtown & Canada Games Plaza
