Crews worked well into the night as 138 wildfires across the province Friday were sparked primarily in the North and Cariboo regions.

Almost 40 fires, which still remain active, were discovered in the Cariboo Fire Centre.

In Williams Lake, both pumps at Chevron and Petro on Oliver Street have run dry of regular fuel and only have premium available as of 6AM Saturday morning.
