Prince George has been under an air quality advisory for more than a week

Prince George has been under an air quality advisory for more than a week
As fires continue to burn, that advisory will probably stay in place for a while
Northern Health is advising anyone with chronic conditions like asthma, diabetes and heart disease to limit their exposure to smoky air
Avoid exercising outdoors and especially near roadways, where air pollution increases
Places like malls and libraries can provide a place to get away from the smoke for a while
If you experience severe shortness of breath, chest pain or sudden problems breathing, visit your doctor
You can find updates on air quality conditions at bcairquality.ca.
