Brooks Bandits 4 Prince George Spruce Kings 3 (Gold Medal game)
The Bandits jumped out to a 3-0 lead just 13 1/2 minutes into the game.
They led 4-1 after two before the Spruce Kings rally in the 3rd fell short before a packed crowd of 2,294.
It is the second national title for the community-owned Bandits (first was in 2013).

All of the scoring came in the final 4:01 of the second period.
Ben Brar snapped a 1-1 tie with 2:16 left in the second.
Logan Neaton, the top goalie in the tournament, made 32 saves, including 18 in the third as Oakville outshot Prince George 33-32.

The BCHL and Doyle Cup champions finished 24-5 in the post-season, with four of those losses against Brooks in eight games against them.
