MOTOCROSS:

Jess Pettis of Prince George finished third in the 250cc class at the Rockstar Energy Triple Crown motocross which was held at the Blackwater Motocross Park.


NHL
:

The NHL season could end tonight.

The St. Louis Blues host the Boston Bruins (5:00 PT) with the Blues ahead 3-2 in the
Stanley Cup final.

Should the Bruins win, a 7th and deciding game would be played Wednesday in Boston.

The Blues are just 6-6 at home in the playoffs compared to 9-3 on the road.

The Bruins are 7-3 on the road and 7-5 at home.

NBA:

The Toronto Raptors will go for their first NBA title in the team’s 24-year history when they host the Golden State Warriors Monday night (6 PM PT).

The Raptors enjoy a 3-1 Finals lead.

Kevin Durant returned to practice today (Sunday) and is listed as questionable.

Durant has missed nine straight games with a strained right calf.

GOLF:

Rory McIlroy tuned up for the US Open (which begins Thursday) by winning the RBC Canadian Open in Hamilton by seven shots over Shane Lowry and Webb Simpson.

McIlroy closed with a 61 for a 22-under 258 total.

Top Canadian Adam Hadwin finished sixth, 10 strokes off the pace.

FRENCH OPEN:
The King of Clay, Rafael Nadal, won his record 12th French Open defeating Dominic Thiem in four sets in the final.
The 33-year-old Nadal is 93-2 for his career at Roland Garros.
He is now up to 18 Grand Slam trophies, moving within two of Roger Federer’s men’s record of 20.
The women’s French title was won by #8 Ashleigh Barty.
