Man robs Prince George sex shop twice in five days

General Manager of Dr. Love in Prince George said she’s at her wits end after nearly half a dozen break-ins since December.

Ten minutes after the store closed at 10:00 pm on Tuesday, Christin Kosmonek said a man broke in through a glass window and a glass door using a rock and robbed the store, and not for the first time.

According to her, surveillance video shows that the same thief came in the same way last Thursday.

“He broke in and stole a bunch of items designed for men. The first break-in he bled all over my store, it was disgusting.”

Of the items stolen were Fleshlights, adult toys and an entire shelf of sample lubricants.

Each time, the items that were stolen added up to around $600.00, and in combination with the damage to the door and windows, the break-ins are ringing in at around $4000.00 for Dr. Love.

On advice from the RCMP, Kosmonek said they have to completely board up their Patricia Boulevard location now.

“I’m tired and frustrated,” she said.

The store is working on removing the glass front windows it currently has to prevent further issues.

RCMP have confirmed both incidents and said that a 38-year old Clayton Tyler Moll was arrested following the break-in on Tuesday.

BC Prosecution Service charged Moll with two counts of break, enter & theft, two counts of theft under $5000, three counts of failure to comply with probation, and possession of property obtained by crime under $5000.
