Duplex fire in PG causes $100,000 damage, RCMP investigating

One hundred thousand dollars worth of damage was sustained to a home during a residential blaze in Prince George.

It happened just before 1:00 p.m. on Monday, in the 4300 block of 1st Avenue where smoke was visible from the back corner of an older single story side by side duplex.

The matter has been turned over to the Prince George RCMP where Corporal Craig Douglass recently spoke with MyPGNow.com.

“We attended and investigated where we saw no loss of life, no injuries were reported and at this point, that’s where the investigation is at.”
