Cougars start their pre-season with three losses

The Prince George Cougars were outscored by a total of 19-4 in three exhibition games on the weekend.

The Cougars fell 7-1 to the Kamloops Blazers Friday in Langley, 5-3 to the Vancouver Giants Saturday in Langley and 7-0 to the Rockets Sunday night in Kelowna.

The Rockets scored three times in first and four more in the second on rookie goalie Tyler Brennan.

Kelowna outshot PG 42-21.

They have two pre-season games left and both are in Dawson Creek against the Edmonton Oil Kings on Thursday and Saturday.

The Cougars open their regular at home on Friday, September 20th against the Giants.
