Another UNBC soccer player is the Canada West Third Star of the Week.
Fourth-year local product Owen Stewart is being recognized by the conference after recording four points in his last two games.
His most recent outing was a goal and an assist against the Mount Royal Cougars in a 3-2 victory on Friday at Masich Place Stadium.
Stewart leads the Timberwolves in scoring.
The UNBC men’s soccer team is 3-3-1 on the season and is in Edmonton this weekend for a pair of games against the Alberta Golden Bears and MacEwan Griffins.
Last week, Sofia Jones of the T-Wolves women’s soccer program was also named the CW Third star after a two-goal performance against UBCO (September 7th)
