The Prince George Native Friendship Centre is hosting their 3rd annual Health Fair today.
The 100% free event features health service providers from around the area along with free haircuts, hand massages and free family photos.
“Part of it is to build relationships between community people and service providers.” Centre Director of Health Erin Anderlini says “Sometimes it’s hard to just call someone up and make an appointment, or just go in. It can be scary for people, but if you can meet someone face to face, maybe that will help get people to the services they need.”
Previous years have seen over 400 people attend. The fair runs until 3pm Thursday.
