PG RCMP investigating incident at Northland Dodge

According to the Prince George RCMP, the building was made clear of any threat after nothing was found.

Operations at the dealership have now resumed as per normal.

Updated Story at 11:10 AM

The Prince George RCMP are investigating a police incident at Northland Dodge this morning (Wednesday).

Police got the call just after 9:00 AM and all employees were evacuated as a result.

Cpl. Craig Douglass told MyPGNow.com these types of calls are not a common occurrence.

“No, we don’t get many of these calls or these types of reports, which is a good thing of course and we don’t anticipate there will be any issues here as it’s just a matter of clearing the building and making sure it is safe.”

“Right now, once we clear the scene, everyone will be able to go back inside and go back to normal.”

We’ll provide more information once it becomes available.

An incident concerning public safety is being investigated right now by the RCMP in Prince George.

According to the police, it’s in the Recplace Drive area by the Sandman Signature Hotel and Northland Dodge.

The public is being asked to avoid the area.
