Cool, dry conditions to welcome trick-or-treaters in Prince George

The Halloween forecast in Prince George should be a treat according to Environment Canada.

Today (Thursday), a high of plus four is expected during the day in the northern capital.

Meteorologist, Phillippe Alain-Bergeron expects the conditions to remain pleasant during the evening.

“For tonight, during the trick or treating hours, it should be dry and cooling gradually since we have a low of minus six for tonight but in the early evening it should be above freezing.”

Bergeron adds both drivers and trick or treaters will need to be on the lookout for each other.

“I would say be especially careful and on the lookout for trick or treaters but they should also dress in bright colors or reflective gear on.”

Some rain is expected to move in by tomorrow (Friday) with a high of plus five to kick off November.
