PG RCMP looking for Armed Robbery suspect

An armed robbery at a Prince George convenience store is being investigated by the Prince George RCMP.

At about 2:30 AM on Monday, the lone suspect threatened an employee with a weapon on the 1500 block of 20th Avenue and made off with a few packs of cigarettes before the police were called.

Significant efforts have been made to locate the suspect but he has not been found up to this point.

Cpl. Craig Douglass said the description of the suspect is fairly similar to most cases of this kind.

“Dark hoody, black pants and a bandana over his face so it’s hard to identify him but we’re confident there is someone out there that will recognize this person based on the surveillance images we’ve provided.”

“Certainly, the hour of the day, the darkness, that definitely helps these people but I will say this business was fairly busy at this time and there were people in and around the area when this happened.”

A full description can be found here:

  • First Nations male
