Sea of green to blanket PG during 4-H Show your Colours Day

4-H club members in Prince George will be wearing green today (Wednesday) at school in support of Show Your Colours Day across Canada.

The youth organization has over 125 members in Prince George with enrolment starting up again this month.

Past Key Leader, Carlene Heppner told MyPGNow they have a lot of programs available for youth to try.

“So, we want to make sure that people know there is something for the youth in Prince George and that you don’t need to have a farm animal. 4-H has photography, gardening and all sorts of fun things and wonderful projects.”

The day will end with a food drop at 5:30pm at Mr. PG where residents can drop off any non-perishable items.

All 4-H clubs in the province are trying to collect over 8800 pounds of food from now until November 30th to support BC families.
