Prince George to host public meeting on money laundering

Prince George residents are invited to share their concerns about money laundering within the province.

The Commission of Inquiry into Money Laundering in British Columbia has chosen Prince George to hold their fifth, and last, public meeting. Citizens will be given the opportunity to share their considerations, ideas and worries with the Commission.

The Commission formed in 2019, with hopes to address money laundering in avenues such as real estate, gaming, and corporate sectors.

Those interested in attending the meeting can express concerns to Commissioner Austin Cullen and Senior Commission Counsel Brock Martland between 5:30 and 8PM at 444 George Street, in the Cranbrook South Room of the Ramada Plaza in Prince George.

More information about the public forums can be found online.
