WHL: (PG Cougars)
The Prince George Cougars visit the BC Division-leading Kamloops Blazers tonight.
It is the first of nine meetings between the two teams this season.
The (13-6) Blazers are four points ahead of the second-place Vancouver Giants.
Prince George will play the (10-8-1-1) Giants Saturday night in Langley.
The (4-13-0-2) Cougars have lost five in a row and nine of their last 10 to sit eight points out of a wild-card playoff spot.

BCHL: (PG Spruce Kings)
The (8-11-2-3) Prince George Spruce Kings will try to snap a four-game losing skid when they host the (14-9-1-1) Cowichan Valley Capitals tonight.
PG will also entertain the (4-15-3-2) West Kelowna Warriors Saturday.
The Spruce Kings are third in the Mainland Division but just a point ahead of the (10-13) Langley Rivermen and two up on the last place (8-13-0-3) Surrey Eagles.
They are also eight behind the second place (12-7-4-1) Chilliwack Chiefs.

BC Major Midget League: (Cariboo Cougars)
The Cariboo Cougars play a couple of games in Abbotsford against the (9-4-0-1) Fraser Valley Thunderbirds, Saturday at 3:15 p.m. and Sunday at 11:45 a.m.
The (10-3-0-1) Major Midget Cougars are in 3rd place in the 11-team BCMML, a point behind the (11-5) Vancouver NW Hawks and a point ahead of the (10-4) Vancouver NE Chiefs.

Canada West Basketball: (UNBC Timberwolves)
The UNBC Timberwolves host the UBC Thunderbirds in Canada West basketball tonight at 6:00 (women) & 8:00 (men) and Saturday night at 5:00 and 7:00.
These will be the Timberwolves final regular-season homes games until January 10th.
UNBC is 3-1 in the men’s standings and 1-3 in the women’s division.
UBC is 2-2 in both the men’s and women’s standings.

The Prince George Barracudas are hosting their Fall Invitational swim meet this weekend.
About 185 swimmers will participate.
Teams competing include: PG Barracudas, Fort St John Inconnu, Quesnel Waveriders, Williams Lake Bluefins
Kamloops Classic Swimming, Kitimat Marlins, Terrace Bluebacks and Prince Rupert Amateur Swim Club
Racing runs from 5:40 to 7:30 tonight (Friday) plus 9:10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
NFL: (Week 11)
