BCHL: (PG Spruce Kings)
Chilliwack Chiefs 3 Prince George Spruce Kings 2
The Spruce Kings suffered their 11th one-goal loss of the season, most in the BCHL.
The Chiefs erased a 2-1 deficit by scoring a couple of second period goals less than four minutes apart before 703 fans at RMCA.

PG is 0-2 on a five-game homestand, which continues tonight against the (15-9-4-2) Chiefs in the second half of the doubleheader.
The (11-17-2-3) Spruce Kings are tied with the (11-15-2-3) Surrey Eagles for fourth in the Mainland Division, three points behind the (14-15-0-1-1) Langley Rivermen and nine back of second-place Chilliwack.

WHL: (PG Cougars)
The Prince George Cougars and Winterhawks meet again, but this time in Portland.
The two teams face off Saturday and Sunday night.
Portland beat the Cougars 3-0 Tuesday and 5-4 in overtime Wednesday in Prince George.
The (18-6-1-2) Winterhawks went 4-for-7 on the power-play in the two games.
Portland leads the U.S. Division by two points over the (18-6-1) Everett Silvertips.
The (6-18-1-2) Cougars are 12 points behind (12-10-2-1) Tri-City for the last Western Conference wild-card playoff spot.

The (14-11-4) Vancouver Canucks are 1-1 on a five-game homestand that continues Saturday afternoon at 1:00 against the (13-11-5) Buffalo Sabres.

The Cariboo Cougars visit the (6-13-0-1) Thompson Blazers Saturday night at 6:30 and Sunday afternoon at 1:00 in Kamloops.
The 14-4-1-1 Major Midget Cougars are midway through their 40-game regular-season schedule.
They are tied for third place but just four points out of first.
